It feels like I'm always making apologies for not getting any new books out but I am truly sorry that it has been so long since there's been a new Jack Frey or Nathaniel Rane book. But (waves at world) it's been crazy and I'm still trying to finish the last Mike Shackle book, UNTIL THE LAST. Why's that book taken so long? A million boring reasons that you all know so well. Let's just say I am never writing a book in a pandemic again!
Anyway, UNTIL THE LAST is now at 220,000 words and the end is in sight. By the end of this month, I'll send it off to my agent and editor and get back (after maybe a few days break) to the worlds of Mike Morris. I hope things will progress quicker with my old friends. The second Nathaniel Rane is fully plotted and a third already written. There is also a novella featuring the Black Dogs that also has a third already written. I hope to have these out by the autumn and the next Jack Frey book by the end of the year. I also have loose notes for another three books featuring Jack Frey so I have plenty to be getting on with. Thank you again for your patience. The wait will be over soon.
