Hi.
I hope you're having a great start to the year (or as great as it can be in this crazy world). Mine's not been as wonderful as I'd hoped. I headed into the holiday season desperate for a break and some much needed rest. Like everyone, I've found the last two years utterly exhausting. Trying to balance family, writing and my day job had certainly taken its toll on me. However, despite being a family of dedicated mask wearers and vaccinated, COVID-19 managed to find my house at long last. First my wife became sick, then me, then my children. At first we thought it would be a mild illness (and for the kids it was) however, for both my wife and I had a stronger reaction to it. Thankfully, it wasn't as bad as it could've been, but it was bad enough. It's now week 4 and I'm just starting to feel better and able to get some writing down but that has put me behind schedule. The original plan was to release ONCE A HERO at the end of January. Unfortunately, there's too much work to get done to make that happen. I've set a new tentative release date of 28th February but it might be even be a week or so later than that. I'm really sorry— especially after being away from the worlds of Nathaniel Rane and Jack Frey for so long- but it is only a temporary blip.
